Product Description:
1. AISI M2, DIN1.3343, JIS SKHH51, Cr4V2 tool steel
2. Hot rolled or Forged, condition annealing, black surface
3. Hardness: ≤ 255HBS;
4. Hot rolled technology: EAF+LF+VD
5. Ultrasonic test standard: SPE1921-GR3, CLASS D/D or E/E
M2 is molybdenum die steel, with the advantages of small carbide nonuniformity and high toughness. Easy to overheat, it should strictly control the quenching temperature, the heat treatment requirements are more stringent. Because of its hardness and wear resistance, and more for Manufacturing tool for cutting more difficult cutting materials.M2 die steel with a large tendency of carbide, so the heat treatment requirements are more stringent, suitable for vibration and impact load to withstand the mold.
