Galvalume finish utilizes a perfect blend of aluminum and zinc (55% aluminum and 45% zinc) to
coat a durable steel substrate. A small amount if silicon is also introduced to the coating to ensure

3. Galvalume Corrugated Steel Sheet main structure
It is carbon steel sheet coated with aluminum-zinc alloy by a continuous hot-dip process described
in Production Methods. The nominal coating composition is 55% aluminum and 45% zinc. A small
but important amount of silicon is included in the coating alloy

5. Galvalume Corrugated Steel Sheet installation tips
1) Prepare roof surface by removing old roofing, rotten wood,adding roofing felt to entire surface
2) Calculate the number of sheets of corrugated metal needed
3) Place your first metal sheet in a corner of the roof, flush against the surface
4) Nail in the first metal sheet to the wood of the roof
5) Place the second metal sheet alongside the first with an overlap of 3 to 4 inches (10 cm)
6) Nail the second metal sheet to the roof
